Songkran is coming. I'm very happy to see our Songkran festival in other countries. Besides of splashing water in the hottest month of year, Songkran festival is Thai new year as well. It's our good tradition to give respect to elders and have blessings in return from them. Anyway, May the water bring you good
fortune and prosperity throughout the year and I really hope our crisis will turn to normalcy soon.

Last year when I took this picture, I noticed that some young Thais kneeling down infront of their seniors and holding a small bowl of water. Then those seniors speinkled some water over the young one's head and said something. Is this some kind of blessing?

May the troubles go away soon in bangkok.

yes! some kind of thing, and seniors will be poured water on hands by younger ppl as well...

Cross finger and bless with our nation!!!
