自我介紹

Hi there! I am Jamie Bodiford. I am originally from the US but right now, I'm in Taiwan to learn the language and culture here. I am enjoying my stay here. I really love the food and of course, the people! I'm an architect by profession but I'm just really a student of life. I enjoy reading books, writing essays, and watching movies.

There are still a lot of things I want to experience here in Taiwan. I only have a few months left and I swear to make the most out of my stay. I plan to visit majority of the provinces and taste exquisite cuisines from different locales. I can speak Mandarin now but I guess I still have a lot to learn. I'm conversing in Mandarin as much as I possibly can.

Once I get back to the States, I plan to write a book about my experience here. I'm still not sure on what aspect of Taiwanese culture I will focus but we'll see. I decided to also have it translated into Mandarin since I want it to reach the Taiwanese since the book will be focused on them and their culture.
